ABOUT
Alyssa Jean Signature Events is a boutique wedding and event planning company based in West Hartford, Connecticut. Alyssa Johnson is the principal planner and owner of AJSE. She is a seasoned professional with a Bachelor's degree from UMASS Amherst in Hospitality & Event Management and over 10 years of experience in the industry planning intimate dinners for 10 to conventions for over 2,500 guests! Her career in events began in Boston in 2012 where she worked at several of the most iconic properties in the city including Boston Park Plaza Hotel, Hynes Convention Center and the Boston Convention Exhibition Center. She made her transition to the wedding industry in 2015 planning luxury weddings at the historic Wentworth by the Sea Hotel in New Castle, New Hampshire. She moved from New Hampshire to Connecticut in 2017 and started Alyssa Jean Signature Events shortly thereafter.
AJSE offers planning services for all types of events, but weddings are our absolute favorite as we love the personal connection that we develop with our couples. It is always such an honor to work alongside you planning one of the best days of your lives! Alyssa approaches each wedding with a positive attitude, an eye for design, creative ideas, a strong knowledge of the local market, and of course, a sense of humor.
Alyssa prides herself on a strong attention to detail (after all, a wedding is made up of a million little ones!), constant communication (ask any of her past clients. She promises you the number one thing they will tell you is how much they appreciate her responsiveness!), and her passion and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure you get your dream day. Alyssa knows that we have one chance to make your wedding day spectacular and she takes her role in making that happen very seriously. Alyssa accepts a limited number of clients each year as she pours her heart and soul into each one.
Alyssa firmly believes that your wedding day is a true reflection of your unique personalities and style, both as individuals and as a couple. AJSE couples want to enjoy their engagement and their wedding day and they trust us to make sure that happens!
Alyssa's favorite parts of the wedding day are the moment after you say I Do and walk hand in hand down the aisle surrounded by your dearest friends and family and the grand reveal of your reception space!
